- Six-Monthly: A qualified fire alarm engineer should carry out a full interim inspection, testing detectors, call points, sounders, and control panel functions.
- Annually: A comprehensive inspection must be completed, covering all system components, wiring integrity, battery backup, and a full cause-and-effect test.
